Turns out my last post was my 100th post

And I didn't even realize it!

So in honor of my 101st blog post I give you some Marci Wright originals

I did my first real photoshoot this week

I was very nervous, but I think it went very well

I am in the middle of editing photos and I thought I would offer a sneak peek

I have known this family for a few years

Their son served in the Ukraine with my brother, and that same son just happened to marry my best friend

They are hilarious and were so much fun to work with

They are also the nicest people ever

(Seriously, they invited me to come stay at their house and use their sweet movie room. And they have fed me quite a few times...)

There will be more pictures to come

Ones that are even more fun

(They may have worn mustaches and nerd glasses for part of the shoot...)

I kind of love this:

But I am nothing, and so I am finally free to be myself.

This is what my photography final looked like:

I called it a self portrait

the title is "The pieces that make me up"

I printed them all out and matted them

and they look pretty dang good if I do say so myself

My professor and class really liked them

and it made me want to play with color in photoshop more

I have my first real photo shoot in a few days

And I am so excited

And I get to tag along on a wedding video shoot

and of course bring my camera and play around

Does someone want to buy me a camera and some lenses so when I have to give the one I currently have back to BYU there won't be a camera shaped hole in my heart?
