Well folks, the time has come once again. Yup, it has started getting cold. This year Utah decided to skip straight from summer to cold fall in ONE day. Yesterday the high was in the 80's. Today? 49. I am starting to remember why I dislike winters here.
In my design class I am designing a poster with this adorable picture of my grandpa. It is going to be SO GOOD.
Yesterday was a weird/big day for me, mostly concerning the opposite gender. It was good it happened, it had to, but it was full of sad realizations. I hate changes, especially big ones. But sometimes they must happen, and this one was for the best.
The 'rents are here and this pleases me greatly. I love when I get to see them!
Check out the band Fun. They rock my socks, and if you like The Format, specifically Dog Problems, you will LOVE Fun.

Question: How am I going to be a teacher when the thought of teaching my 276 class how projectors works makes me super nervous?

Wishlist
I am becoming a technology nerd. I subscribe to websites about new gadgets. I find myself excited to read these articles. I find myself wanting some of the things in said articles. I am excited to teach my communication in media class about printing tomorrow. And a little bit nervous. Okay, maybe a lot bit. But I feel that I am learning to embrace and even love the nerdy side of myself. I sure hope you are ready for me!
i want one of these. preferably in red. thanks.

So, many of you may know that my best friend, Jaimie Lyn Jones, went and got hitched a few weeks ago. I love this girl and I am so glad I have had her in my life for the past 8 years(I am pretty sure that is how it has been). She is so amazing and so beautiful and so talented, Sean is one lucky guy! But here is a post dedicated to her. I love you Jaimie Lyn TANNER and I wish you all the happiness in the world!

I've got my life in a suitcase, I'm ready to run run run away
Utah, Colorado, Arizona, Nevada. Those are all of the states I visited last week. It all started when I found out that one of my FAVORITE bands ever, Copeland, was touring. However, they were not going to be visiting Utah. So what did we do? We found the closest place they were going to be and made plans to drive to Denver for the concert. Problem 1: I was supposed to be driving to Arizona with my mom the same day as the concert. I think that is really the only problem that was encountered. I just wanted it to sound like this trip was more dramatic than it really was. I decided to go to the concert and buy a plane ticket to fly from Denver to Phoenix for the day after the concert. So on wednesday morning Dave, Ron, Dayna and I drove to Denver, Colorado. We went to the concert, missed one of the opening bands we really wanted to see and enjoyed Copeland's set. Some of our other friends also drove up form Provo a little later than us and we met up with them at the concert. It was a lot of fun and definitely worth the trip to Denver. While we were there I got a Sherwood set list signed by the lead singer of Sherwood, and got Aaron Marsh, the lead singer of Copeland to give me a water bottle. It was pretty tight. We spent the night just outside of Denver and when we woke up the next morning I got on aa plane for Arizona. Friday I left for Nevada with my mom and my sister. We drove to Ely spent the night there, got our eyes checked, went to a singles branch activity, then drove to Logandale, NV to visit my grandparents. The next morning we woke up, went to church then left and came back to Arizona. It was a long weekend, but lots of fun. I drove most of the way to Ely and my favorite thing my mom said to me was that we don't play dodge the bunnies. We just keep going and hit them. I was a little freaked out, especially since there were about 4 rabbits that decided to run out in front of the car. I really didn't want to hit them. I also didn't want to hit any deer and luckily they stayed off to the side of the road instead of in the middle of the road. I have also met my nephew and he is ADORABLE! I pretty much love him. A lot. Now I am just chillin' in Az, enjoying my break from work and trying to not be bored. My sister flew to Hawaii on wednesday. She is starting school there on monday and I am more than just a little jealous. She also got a new computer right before she left which I am also envying. I am missing my Provo friends but loving being with my family and being in the Arizona sunshine. Here are some pictures for your viewing pleasure. enjoy!

Arches, Blanding, and everywhere in between
For the fourth of July this year I went with some friends to southern Utah. We camped just outside of Moab, hiked in Arches National Park, and partied it up small town style in Blanding, Utah. This was probably one of the best camping trips I have EVER been on. Really that isn't saying much seeing as how i don't go camping that often... But anyway. I didn't really have to deal with bugs and everyone that I went with was very chill. We didn't get sick of each other after spending 3 days together. I feel like that is kind of a big deal. But here are some pictures from my awesome weekend! Maybe I stole some of these pictures from Ron. It's hard to say.

Exploring our campsite

We girls love us some dandelions!

Ryan, Ron, Dayna, Leesa, and Sam at the cabin we stayed at just outside of Blanding

Maybe Dayna had a cape in her trunk and maybe I am a creep and wore it. It's fine.

Delicate Arch!

All of us in our sunday best! Aren't we so cute? (Picture courtesy of my dad's iphone.)
